our recent stay at a beautiful apartment in Mexborough exceeded all expectations. The stunning decor, comfortable furnishings, and excellent amenities made our stay perfect. Communication with the host was superb, and check-in and out were seamless. Carnegie Library: Shakespeare Apartment truly provided great value for money.
Slight annoyance - spoke alarm constantly going off despite open windows and full extractor fan.

I recently stayed at the Shakespeare Apartment for a weekend getaway. The apartment was beautifully decorated with a bright and inviting layout. It was well stocked with tea and coffee, including a coffee machine. The cleanliness was impeccable, and all the essential items needed for the kitchen and bathroom were provided. The furnishings throughout the apartment were not only stunning, but also very comfortable. I loved the spa-style slippers that were provided, and there was plenty of storage space. The instructions on how to enter the building and the apartment were clear and easy to follow. my stay was perfect, with great communication from Jayne, quick check-in and check-out, and an incredibly clean apartment.
Can recommend this hotel.

This place was a gem! The apartment had such a unique feeling of being at home and was worth every penny. The kids loved it and are already planning our next visit. The location was perfect for our needs, and the host was incredibly communicative and caring throughout our stay.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was if there were more options available.

It's great to see the old library building being repurposed as the Shakespeare Apartment. the location is convenient, with family in the surrounding areas. the apartment is well equipped, with tea, coffee, and snacks provided. the spacious rooms and powerful showers are a plus.
The stairs could be tiresome, especially for older guests.

We had a wonderful stay at the Shakespeare Apartment in Mexborough. The character of the old building was charming, and the living room was simply amazing. The beds were comfy, and we enjoyed the nice bar area. The apartment was clean and well-equipped with all the essential items we needed. We also appreciated the clear and easy-to-follow instructions for entering the building and the apartment. it was a great deal for the money.
While we loved our stay, there were a few minor inconveniences. Some light bulbs were not working, and the holder for the shower head in the bathroom was broken, which made showering a bit challenging.
